Surveytime is a new website that pays you to complete market research surveys. It sets itself apart from other paid survey sites in several ways, the most important of which is that Surveytime offers online surveys that pay cash instantly. This is our review.

Surveytime is not a bad paid survey site. It’s the only site we know of that pays immediately after you complete a survey. This is probably its best feature. It’s also one of a few that offer an option to be paid out in Bitcoin. It lacks any form of customer support though.

Many other paid survey sites claim that they pay instantly. Usually, this means that they credit you immediately upon completing a survey, but you still need to reach a minimum balance before you can withdraw your earnings.
Alternatively, it means that you get paid immediately after reaching your minimum threshold, instead of having to wait days or weeks for your payment to be processed.
Surveytime is not like that at all. You get offered surveys that pay instantly to PayPal, or the alternative payment method of your choice.
Whether you complete one survey in a session, or several, you will get paid immediately after completing each one. If you choose to cash out to PayPal, you will see the payment reflected in your PayPal account within a minute or two.
There is no minimum balance requirement, and no processing delay other than the very short time that it takes before your payment shows up in your PayPal account.

Keeping Things Simple
Simplicity is the name of the game with Surveytime.
For a start, you don’t have to visit their site to see if surveys are available. They mail you and let you know. So just click on the link in the mail and you get taken to the survey immediately.
Their surveys only have two payment rates, $1.00 or $0.50. We think that this range is the sweet spot of survey rewards. That’s because it strikes a good balance between fair compensation for your time, and removing the clutter that comes with low-paying surveys that only pay a few pennies, and waste more time than they are worth.
Surveytime will always try to send you to $1.00 surveys first. If none are available, you will be offered $0.50 surveys instead.
Adding to the simplicity is that there are no distractions like offer walls and cash-back offers. If all you are interested in is getting paid to do surveys, then Surveytime is ideal.
On the other hand, if you don’t want to miss out on every single earning opportunity, you might also want to look at sites like ySense, Swagbucks or PrizeRebel. These offer multiple ways to earn money online, in addition to paid surveys.
Surveytime’s success rate for matching your demographic to suitable surveys is pretty good. You still get screened out of some surveys, but this seems to happen much less than on many other sites.
This means you spend more of your time actually earning money. In our experience, it seemed as if we were able to earn as much, if not more, on Surveytime compared to some of the more established sites, taking time and effort into account.
Surveytime also has a basic affiliate program, which rewards you with $1 for each new active member that you introduce.
Cashing Out
We’ve already mentioned that you can cash out instantly to PayPal, and can confirm that it works like a charm.
In addition, there are other payment options that we have seen. There are gift cards from Amazon, and Bitcoin paid via Coinbase, for example. The Bitcoin option is not offered every time however, and we have yet to figure out why.
We have not tried any of the other payout options ourselves.
No User Support
A big shortcoming of Surveytime is that there is no user support.
We recently became aware of a problem which affected earnings, but were unable to report it.
There is no help or support link on the website, and no response from any known e-mail addresses. As far as we can see, there is no way to get in touch with them to report an issue.
If you cannot report a problem, it probably won’t be fixed.
Is Surveytime Legit Or A Scam?
Even though Surveytime is fairly new on the paid surveys scene, we have received multiple payouts from them.
The only problems we encountered were the earnings issues that we were not able to report. The fact that they are unlikely to be resolved does not bode well.
In addition, Surveytime user reviews on Trustpilot are mostly positive. We think that this is a legitimate site but the lack of user support is a blot on its continued trustworthiness.
What We Like About Surveytime (The Pros)

- Earning options are limited to surveys. There are no offer walls or other offers. We like this ‘clean’ approach, although some may dislike the lack of additional earning opportunities.
What We Don’t Like About Surveytime (The Cons)
- Other sites occasionally offer surveys that pay out more than Surveytime’s maximum of $1.00.
- No customer support facility.
- Unresolved earnings problems are very disappointing.
Our Verdict
You’re not going to make a ton of money from paid survey sites, and Surveytime is no exception. What we like about it though, is that it helps us do surveys more time-efficiently than many other sites that we have come across.
The immediate payments are instantly gratifying and reassuring, and can motivate you to attempt more surveys to earn more money.
Although Surveytime seems reasonably trustworthy, it does not appear to be run in a very professional manner. This casts a shadow over its future trustworthiness.
If you must be paid instantly for surveys then Surveytime is your only real choice.
As a paid survey site, I cannot really recommend it when there are several superior offerings, like our personal favorite ySense.
Although you can make some extra cash using Surveytime, paid online surveys generally pay poorly when you when you consider the amount of time that you spend on them.
